I read you post and wanted you to know I am sending love and strength. I can relate to so many aspects of you post in that my partners mum has Parkinson's and his father Multiple Myeloma. It's a lot and as they are close by my partner is now having to be very involved with many things like you wrote about . I hope the common humanity part of compassion knows you are not alone in the challenges alongside parenting and life. I am so grateful that I have you comforting "growing present" course to access and support me through the school holidays 🙏🏻. Sending love x
Sending much love to you on this challenging and all-consuming path you are navigating. Don’t worry about anything here, there is no rush. Look after your dear heart amongst it all xx
Sending love & hugs as you work through these challenges. Each of them has its own set of associated issues that will mean decision making, stretching out even in the thinnest of places & still trying to remain objective where at all possible.
You are truly a carer on all sides just now so please take care of your own heart, take time to nurture & nourish even for a micro moment each day.
Hi Ali, I just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your mum's accident and can't imagine the pressure and strain you must be under right now 😕 Sending lots of love, hugs and strength your way ❤️
Hi Ali, sending love, hugs, strength and extra sleep (because we both know in this kind of situation you're not getting any)! Here if you need to DM chat, I do caregiver hours so anytime. Also, check the Carer Mentor hospital discharge articles that could offer support. https://www.carermentor.com/i/145956075/carers-uk-factsheets-checklists-and-guides
I looked after my elderly parents for 8 ½ years so I know this predicament well. No wisdom to impart, just wanted to say that I can relate.
Sending you to you Ali. Xx
